A gorgeous vintage Scottish sterling silver, agate and smoky quartz brooch.
Modelled on the designs of the Victorian Scottish agate pieces this attractive brooch is a scalloped oval shape, set to the centre with a large faceted oval smoky quartz.
The outer rim is adorned with half circle slabs of Scottish agate including Montrose agate, bloodstone and red Jasper.
One Red Jasper piece has significant cracking to it but this is hard to notice unless up close.
This brooch is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Edinburgh assay office, 1964, maker Robert Allison.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age, one red Jasper cracked.
Approx measurements:

1.10" length
