An attractive antique sterling silver and cobalt blue enamelled fob pendant.
It is an unusual shaped fob with a wreath surrounding the outer rim and a club at the bottom, the centre of the fob has a number of faces in light relief contained within a shield and there is a cobalt blue enamel banner above.
The banner reads Reading and District Football league.
The reverse has full British hallmarks.
An interesting fob with a sporting history, perfect for attaching to your favourite Albert chain or wearing as a pendant, it does not have a bale or jump ring attached.
It is a weighty and solid fob.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, sterling silver, 1925, William Hair Haseler, Art Deco era
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, aged patina, some minor nicks to the blue enamel.
Total weight 12.08 grams.
Approx measurements:
1.25" fob length with bale
1" fob width
