A large Victorian silver locket is the perfect piece for adding a little statement to your favourite chain or necklace.
This aesthetic era piece is a good sized locket and will not go unnoticed, it has attractive engraving to the front and back, one side featuring two leaves and the other a bouquet of flowers.
It could hold two photographs or a small memento, there are currently no glazed covers or lining within the locket and it is empty.
These look great hung on a nice silver long chain or attached to a book chain necklace.
Marks and era:
Victorian era, unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate wear and signs of use, surface wear, some scratches internally, no glazed cover, some small dings to the rim.
Approx measurements:
1.50" width
2.25" height including the bale.
