A gorgeous antique Victorian silver collar necklace.
This attractive Aesthetic era chain is made up from chunky silver book chain links with engraving to one side.
A staple piece of Victorian jewellery and as wearable in this era as it was then.
Can be worn on both sides and it is a day to night piece with a beautiful floral engraved side and a plain polished side.
It has a large antique silver spring ring fastener and a section of extender chain which can also be used to hang a locket or pendant or give extra length to the necklace.
Very grand and well made, a special antique chain this would make an amazing gift.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age, a few light scratches to some links.

16" length
2.5" extender chain length
11mm link width
