A handsome antique, Victorian era sterling silver Albert chain or watch chain.
Lovely chunky silver, graduated curb links with dog clip fasteners to each end, one is a later sheet brass replacement, this is rather flimsy so could be replaced with a silver one or a jump ring.
Each link is stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver and the chain has a sterling silver t bar, late Victorian era.
A lovely chunky heavy chain, with a rustic aged feel to it, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, surface scratches to the links, one dog clip is a sheet brass replacement, this has some small dents and is fairly weak so could be replaced.
Total weight 53.51 grams.
