Antique Sapphire and diamond five stone ring, 18ct gold, Victorian

A stunning antique, late Victorian era Sapphire and Diamond five stone ring.

Five vibrant and rich blue sapphires fill up the face with plenty of presence, there are diamond point spacers above and below giving a little sprinkle of sparkle amongst the sapphires.

One sapphire is a synthetic sapphire replacement, this is a shade darker than the other stones and with less wear.

The ring has a very rich 18ct yellow gold band, tapering from the scrolling boat head style mount with lightly impressed engraved shoulders.

The diamonds are approximately 0.10ct in total and have a good clarity and colour, very well matched.

This is a beautiful late Victorian ring and would make a very special gift or a fabulous treat for yourself.

The band is stamped 18ct, English make, c1900, late Victorian era.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, one sapphire replaced with a synthetic sapphire, surface scratches, nibbles to the stones visible to the eye.
