You can't go wrong with a beautiful antique seal fob, they are such versatile pieces and can be worn in many ways, from pendants to Albert chain fobs
Made from 9ct rose gold cased metal, probably with a bronze core, late Georgian era, it has a typical early design with an open top and scrolling arches.
The base is set with a warm honey coloured smoky quartz, this has not been carved so could be personalised if desired.
This beautiful antique seal has a chunky integral bale top so is ready to be hung from your favourite chain of necklace
Marks and era:
Unmarked, 19th century, c1810s, Georgian era, tests as 9ct rose gold plated / cased likely with a bronze core.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, light wear.
