A fine antique Victorian agate cameo pendant.
This wonderfully crafted beauty has been hand carved from layers of agate, the base a rich dark red and the carving in an off white shade.
The cameo features a classic lady facing to the left with flowing curls and love hearts on her hair, it is a very well carved piece with plenty of attention to detail.
The cameo is set into a 9cr yellow gold bezel frame with a rope twist border, this has a gold jump ring attached ready to hang from your favourite antique chain necklace.
If you are a collector of cameos this is a nice one to add to your collection or it would make a great gift.

English make, Victorian era, unmarked tests as 9ct gold, c1890s

Good used condition overall, light surface wear, commensurate with age.
