A wonderful antique late Victorian era Sterling silver charm bangle.
It is a large, slim, smooth silver with torque style finials that slips over the wrist.
Added to this on the integral jump rings are a selection of wonderful antique silver charms, there is a mouse, an acorn, a cot, a champagne bottle, a shamrock, a cross, scales and my favourite a lucky bear with pink paste eyes!
The charms make a lovely jingle on movement, a gorgeous piece filled with symbolism and sentiment, there is something just special and magical about an antique charm bracelet, they tell a story and have a great look.
Marks and era:
Late Victorian era, c1890s, unmarked electronically tests as sterling silver.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, rich heavy patina though could be polished up bright, slight dings to the bangle, the cot charm is missing a rocker from one side.
Approx measurements:
9" outer circumference max
1.3mm width of bangle
0.25" - 0.75" charm lengths
It weighs approx 10.95 grams.
