A beautiful antique Victorian era chalcedony and turquoise pendant.
It is an oval shaped pendant, the cool white chalcedony claw mounted into an elaborate 18ct yellow gold frame with wirework and scroll work.
The chalcedony has a pretty yellow gold forget me not flower further mounted to it and this is set with rich turquoise cabochons, making up the head of the flower.
This is a beautiful piece of jewellery with an elegant and elaborate design and it would make for a grand gift.
Unmarked, Victorian era, C1890s, tests as 18ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of age and use, light surface hairline to the chalcedony on one side only at the base, very hard to notice, one small missing section of gold wirework to the pendant frame, bale is a replacement and is 9ct gold.
Approx measurements:
2" length including bale
