Antique 9ct gold snake swivel fob, pendant, Bloodstone and Chalcedony

This unusual antique 9ct ct gold double snake seal fob is simply enchanting!

Crafted in rich 9ct yellow gold the top is designed as a pair of entwined snakes the heads terminating at the swivel section, they have smooth non-engraved faces and the tails loop and adjoin at the top to create the bale

The fob is set with a smooth Bloodstone on one side and a bright Chalcedony on the other.

This beautiful antique seal is ready to be hung from your favourite antique chain necklace or Albert chain, it is a versatile piece that will work many ways.

This is such a lovely elaborate example with the double entwined snakes, very nicely designed, a must have for any collection!

It is Unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, c1870s, Victorian era

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some mottling visible under the Chalcedony.
