You can't help but fall in love with this beautiful antique Star set diamond ring.
Set in rich buttery 18ct gold, this design is also known as a gypsy set ring, the iconic star shaped setting giving a lovely celestial touch.
It feature three twinkling old cut diamonds to the face, the larger central stone flanked by two smaller ones.
The face is lightly domed in an almost bombe shape which gives it a nice chunky feel and these stack well with other rings too!
Marks and era:
Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, London assay office, 1898
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, some light surface wear, slight thinning to the band at the reverse, personal inscription on the inner band 1955q.
Ring face Approx 6.2mm length and 2.4mm band width.
Diamonds approx 0.15ct weight total, estimated in setting.
Total weight: 3.89g
