It has a Moeris movement with a Swiss 14ct gold case, engine turned to the reverse, it is an open fave, top wind watch with a white enamel dial, subsidiary second dial and black Arabic numerals.
The watch has a gold plated bow, perfect for attaching to your favourite antique gold pocket watch chain, shown in the images with one of our antique gold Albert chains, it does not come with a chain, listing is for the watch only.
The inner cuvette is base metal and the watch features ruby jewels to the movement.
Marks and era:
Art Nouveau, marked 585, Swiss made case, La Victoire, c1900s, Squirrel mark for 14ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, running and ticking, light surface wear commensurate with age and use, a few small scratches, crystal is a perspex replacement, movement with some play in the case, rattles around a little, bow is gold plated and has wear to the plating, some small dings to the reverse of the case.
