A beautiful vintage sterling silver and paste stone negligee necklace.
It has been very well crafted in an Art Deco design with a fine silver trace chain and spring ring fastener.
The base of the necklace is a negligee style with rows of pretty diamond paste set into sterling silver and terminating with a Amethyst paste stone.
There are two paste set drops each of slightly different lengths and with a teardrop shaped faux pearl suspended from each.
Hallmarked for sterling silver stamped 925 C1980s.
Would make for a lovely gift for a friend or someone special and it would also make a stunning bridal piece.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, used, some signs of use and wear and light discolouration to some paste.
Approx measurements:
18" chain length
2" drop length
Weight approx 9.58 grams.
