A huge vintage Opal and Garnet cluster ring in 9ct gold.
This cluster ring is super sized and is a real statement piece, definitely one that was designed to be noticed.
It is crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a smooth polished band and lovely decorative leaf design shoulders.
To the centre there is a large opal cabochon with a milky white ground and flashes of colour from orange to green.
The opal is surrounded by a halo of rich deep red round cut garnets contrasting with the light central stone beautifully and adding a touch of drama to this pretty vintage ring.
It is particularly substantial and is a heavy ring.

Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1990
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear to the stones and band from wear and use
