An absolutely gorgeous vintage, Art Deco era opal and diamond cluster ring.
A rich 18ct yellow gold band with a cluster style setting in cool platinum.
The face is set with a beautiful opal cabochon with a white body and a beautiful play of colour and fire.
The opal is framed with a halo of sparkling white old cut diamonds with an approx carat weight of 0.35ct in total.
Stamped 18ct and plat, it has a personal inscription with a name but this has been filed, also a later date 1965 probably given as an engagement ring.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, surface wear commensurate with age and use, personal inscription filed and file marks present, two diamonds with a darker appearance due to marks on the platinum setting.
