This is an exceptionally well made buckle ring, very high quality with two beautiful brilliant cut diamonds giving plenty of sparkle.
The ring is designed as a belt and buckle, a design that rose to popularity in the Victorian era and saw a resurgence in the mid 20th century, with interest in Victorian jewellery growing, the 60s saw many Victorian designs re-emerge.
The ring band is lovely and chunky with a smooth high polish and a good depth, it is solid and definitely a piece you can feel you are wearing.
Buckle jewellery holds great romantic sentiments so this would also make a lovely choice for an engagement or wedding ring.
