Rare antique silver cross pendant, Large, Heavy, Victorian

A rare antique Victorian silver cross pendant.

This amazing piece is very large in size and very heavy, made of solid sterling silver nearly 70 grams!

Made almost certainly for a clergyman (or lady) and worn as part of a vestment.

It has fine engraved initials to the front of the cross along with a further engraved Cross and a bright cut Starburst design radiating out from the initials which are SH.

Unmarked it tests as sterling silver, early Victorian era c1850s.

Does not come with a chain, shown in the image with an antique silver chain for reference, chains available to purchase separately in the shop. 

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age.

Total weight 67.39 grams.
