A sweet Victorian silver name brooch.
Much like we have name pendants and jewellery today the Victorians also enjoyed name jewellery.
They were mostly found in silver but sometimes other materials including gold and were often given as gifts.
This brooch features the name Margaret with an engraved detailing and forget me not flowers top and bottom.
It has an old c type clasp and pin fastener.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Chester, 1898, Victorian era.

1.45" width
0.75" length
Weighs approx 2.93 grams
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some signs of use and wear commensurate with age, small dings to the front, one flower bent, pin is base metal.
