This is a very attractive antique Mid Victorian era vesta case in sterling silver with an applied rose gold shield to the front and a rose gold jump ring, ready to hang from your favourite chain!
Marks and era:
Mid Victorian era, fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office, 1876.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, lid opens and closes well, some small dings, a small dark spot on the silver, shield was hallmarked but this has worn.
Approx measurements:
1.45" length / height
2.15" width
Weighs approx 31.20 grams collectively.
