This is a lovely antique sterling silver Albert chain, a truly beautiful example.
Lovely chunky graduating curb links with a great weight, each link stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver.
The chain comes with a Victorian silver tassel with foxtail and beaded drops.
It has a vintage sterling silver and rose gold fronted shield fob attached, this is engraved on the reverse with a personal inscription and fully hallmarked.
A great antique chain, perfect for displaying your favourite antique pocket watch or wearing as a choker depending on size.
Marks and era:
C1910s Art Deco era, Tassel is Victorian era unmarked, tests as sterling silver and the fob is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, 1942, Chester Assay office.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, some wear to the tassel mount.
Total weight 53.84 grams.

Tassel - 0.95" length
