Antique Silver Sweetheart brooch, 9ct gold, Swallow, lovers knot

An attractive and unusual antique sweetheart brooch.

This particular sweetheart brooch really does pack in every kind of symbolic message it can.

Crafted in sterling silver, it has applied yellow and Rose gold accents.

The brooch is made up of two hearts, joined together with a lovers knot to the top in Rose gold and a swag of ivy to the bottom representing eternity (evergreen).

It has a Swallow bird and various floral accents including forget me not flowers also highlighted in gold.

Such a pretty and sentimental piece this would make a lovely gift.

It has an old C type clasp fastener and is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, maker S Bros, 1908.

Condition:
Good used condition overall with lots of aged patina.
