A gorgeous antique late Victorian era Silver, Paste and Faux pearl flower bangle.

Crafted in cool sterling silver the bangle has a slender reverse and closes with a typical push clasp with a silver safety chain.

The front if the bangle is set with clear 'diamond' paste stones leading to a centrally positioned flower motif set with more sparkly old paste stones and a creamy faux pearl to the centre.

Paste is a form of heavy flint glass used mostly in jewellery for centuries, even the Romans were skilled at creating paste imitating popular stones such as lapis or emeralds, it was popular in jewellery from the mid 18th century onward and was incredibly laborious to cut and shape.
