An attractive antique, late Victorian albertina / watch chain.
It has 3 sterling silver chains with larger link and ball terminals, the chain has 2 aesthetic design, silver plated sliders which move freely up and down the chain.
It has a large dog clip which is made from silver plated metal and this has a slight goldish tone.
It does not have any fob or t bar attached to the end so could be personalised with your own fob or charm, a spring ring could also be added here if desired.
Unmarked, English make, c1890's, the sliders and fittings are silver plated metal and the 3 chains are sterling silver (tested).
Approx measurements:
12.5" total length with clip
0.75" slider length
Approx 18.26 grams total weight
Condition:
Good used condition overall with some light surface wear and patina, replacement dog clip, some small areas of wear on the plated areas.
