A gorgeous antique 18ct yellow gold lovers knot ring.
It has a decorative lovers knot design face, a symbol that exudes romance and togetherness, that has been used in jewellery motifs for centuries dating right back to the Roman eras, this design shot to popularity in the Victorian and Edwardian eras as a symbol of love.
It has deeply engraved grooves all around the band giving a multi rope effect and these run through the knot making for a very decorative example.
It is a nice chunky ring with a wide band, very well made and detailed, stamped to the inner band 18ct, Edwardian era.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approx weight: 4.07g.
Ring face approx 9mm length, 4.5mm band width.
