A beautiful antique Georgian era Citrine and split pearl ring in 9ct gold.
It is a chunky ring with decorative engraved split shoulders with a high profile, the face is set with a rectangular halo of creamy split pearls and there is a central oval cut citrine claw mounted within the pearl frame.
The citrine has been later claw mounted and replaces a different stone, would have been a closed back piece, citrine has an approx 1.13ct weight.
It is unmarked, tests 9ct gold.
A charming antique ring with lots of aged charm.
English make, late 18th century, Georgian era.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear, evidence of a previous resize to the back of the band, claw setting and citrine are a later replacement, some wear to the pearls.
