Antique French 18ct gold thimble, 19th century

This charming antique, French 19th century 18ct gold thimble.

The gold has warm rosey tones to it washing over the yellow gold ground with a decorative quatrefoil pattern to the lower half of the thimble and a small ridged rim.

It has a small blank cartouche to the front, this has not been engraved so could be personalised if desired.

This charming piece would make a lovely gift for the sewing enthusiast!

Late 19th century, French eagle head stamp for 18ct gold.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear and scratches to the gold commensurate with age and use, no holes.
