A fine antique English, Edwardian jewellery box.
Square shaped box, standing on four turned bun feet, it is made from Mahogany and pretty satinwood with barber pole stringing to the top of the lid.
A beautiful jewellery box, very well made.
It is lined in a dark red velvet and has a lift out top tray.
Nice and deep lower compartment ideal for storing larger items such as bracelets or watches, the shallow top tray perfect for smaller items such as rings and earrings.
It does not come with a key but does have a lock to the front.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, some light surface wear and scratches, commensurate with age.
