We do love a good antique gold chain here at StolenAttic and this beautiful Victorian piece has truly captured our hearts!
This chain simply has everything you could wish for in an antique chain, big, chunky and beautifully fancy links, the length and the weight, it's a dream!
It is made up from chunky rolo links each with a tiny forget me not flower in light relief.
It has a rich golden glow to it and looks great worn alone but could be stacked with other chains for great neckmess look.
The chan has an added antique 9ct gold dog clip fastener and jump ring, this is a later addition but of a similar period.
It has elements of the Georgian era styles and also a book chain look to it, very versatile and wearable.
Marks and era:
Victorian era, c1880s, unmarked, electronically tests as 9ct gold
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some minor surface wear commensurate with age, some links with wear, some links not soldered shut but made like this, flower detailing has been worn down.
