A gorgeous antique 9ct gold fancy link watch chain or Albert chain, this is a shorter length chain so could also be worn as a bracelet.
It has stunning fancy squared links with star detailing to each link.
The chain has a 9ct gold t bar to one end and a gold dog clip fastener to the other, the dog clip fastener is stamped 9ct.
Perfect for showcasing your favourite antique pocket or fob watch or wearing as a bracelet.
C1870s English make, tests as 9ct gold, dog clip stamped 9ct, the t bar is unmarked.
A very lovely piece, this would make a beautiful gift for someone Special or as a treat for yourself!
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, the dog clip is a replacement but of the same era, the link connecting the dog clip has some substantial thinning and wear.
