You can't help but fall in love with this beautiful antique Star set diamond and Sapphire ring.
Set in rich buttery 18ct gold, this design is also historically known as a gypsy set ring, the iconic star shaped setting giving a lovely celestial touch.
It feature a single old cut diamond to the centre flanked by two rich blue sapphires.
The face is lightly domed in an almost bombe shape which gives it a nice chunky feel and these stack well with other rings too!
Marks and era:
Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Chester assay office, 1898
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, some light surface wear and nicks, slight thinning to the band at the reverse.
Ring face Approx 6.9mm length and 2mm band width.
Central diamond approx 0.10ct weight, estimated in setting.
Total weight: 3.32g
