Vintage sterling silver and guilloche enamel box, hand painted scene, 1920's

A stunning vintage 1920's sterling silver and guilloche enamel box.

Lustrous guilloche enamel to the lid with a carefully hand painted Venetian scene.

The box has a small monogrammed JH to the lower front.

Hallmarked fully to the base for sterling silver, Birmingham 1927, Sydney and Co, short hallmarks to the rim.

It would be suitable for a male or female and is a versatile little box that would make a beautiful gift.

The box is in very good condition overall, small air bubble type mark to one corner when held in certain lights, no chips or cracks, light silver patina.

Approx measurements: 2" diameter and 0.75" height, weighs approx 49.23 grams.
