A rare antique, Victorian era vinaigrette in the form of a powder horn.
It has a deep blue cobalt glass body with a cut design, modelled on the shape of a horn with sterling silver end caps.
The larger end cap has a hinge opening and opens to reveal the pretty aesthetic engraved grille.
The grille is silver plated and both of the end caps are sterling silver, unmarked test as sterling silver.
It has a silver plated chain handle.
Late Victorian, aesthetic era.
Such an unusual design, a beautiful piece.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some rusting near the grille hinge, some residual
