A beautiful antique, Art Nouveau era gold lavalier pendant.
Typical Art Nouveau styling with scrolling 9ct yellow gold and fine looping Wirework around the shoulders.
It has an openwork design, set with a large central turquoise cabochon, it has a small drop at the bottom suspended from a gold flower motif and this is further set with a small reconstituted turquoise.
The main turquoise stone is a lovely vibrant shade with darker green veining.
It is marked on the reverse 9ct, it comes on a later fine link 9ct gold chain, the chain has been repaired to the centre with two yellow gold jump rings.
The large circular bale is also 9ct gold with later vintage hallmarks.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear, chain is a later replacement, chain has a repair, some small nicks to the gold.
