A gorgeous antique Victorian silver collar necklace.
There is so much detailing going on in this necklace with a double sided bead trim and tiny little floral shaped links each pierced with a star shape.
The necklace has double rolo style links on the reverse side and would look just as good worn on the opposite side too, giving the necklace a day to night style.
It is a short length and has a huge sterling silver spring ring attached which has an integral bale, ready for hanging your favourite locket or pendant.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age, there are a few repairs to the rolo links on the reverse side, one with a silver wire and two soldered.
Approx measurements:
Chain - 14.5" length / 0.5" width
Spring ring - 1" length
Weighs approx 27.47 grams
