A beautiful and unusual antique, late Victorian Aquamarine and garnet ring in 9ct yellow gold
It is set to the centre with a large emerald or step cut light blue Aquamarine with a halo of rich red bohemian garnets surrounding it, the stones are set into sterling silver and it has a smooth polished rosey gold band with pinched shoulders.
A curious combination of stones with the light blue aqua and the dark red garnet but the contrast is brilliant.
The beautiful Aquamarine really steals the show on this ring and has an estimated 1.94 ct weigh
The ring is unmarked, tests as 9ct, late Victorian era, c1890s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, light scratches to the stones, some garnets have shifted slightly in the setting.
