Antique Silver Acorn bypass bangle, Victorian

You can't help but fall in love with this charming antique, Victorian era, sterling silver bypass bangle.

Designed as a simple bypass bangle, similar to a torque bangle, it has wonderful acorn finials.

Acorns were a very popular motif in Victorian jewellery and are highly sought after today, they represented amongst other things; Prosperity, Growth, strength and potential.

The idea that the mighty oaks standing proud in the forest all began with a single acorn, it provides the wearer with hope and strength for achieving big things or being prosperous.

It is an off oval shaped bangle, wide and chunky, best for wrists around 6.75" to 8" depending on how tight or loose you prefer to wear your bracelets.

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some small dings to the body and to the acorns, rich patina.
