An attractive antique, Edwardian sterling silver and Rose gold shield fob.
A nice heavy fob with a decorative shield shaped design and a 9ct Rose gold cartouche to the centre, this has been monogrammed on both sides for Wisbech Grammar School, Champion, May 19th 1909, the other side is has the initials WIC in fancy gothic script.
It has a couple of jump rings so can be attached to your favourite Albert chain or necklace, these are base metal but could be swapped out for silver.
Marks and era:
Edwardian era, personal inscription for 1909, tests as sterling silver and 9ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, aged patina.
Total weight 11.22 grams.
Approx measurements:
1.65" fob length with bale
0.75" fob width
