Firm customer favourites and favourites of ours too, this antique, Victorian era Scottish agate bracelet is a classic example.
The bracelet features faceted cylinders of polished banded agate each with different shades, all in blacks, greys, whites and beige.
The panels of agate are adjoined with Sterling silver links and have attractive engraved silver end caps, engraved in the aesthetic manner.
It has a sterlin silver spring ring fastener, this is a replacement but works well with the bracelet.
Marks and era:
Victorian era, c1880s, unmarked, tests as sterling silver.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, rich patina and some wear, some small nibbles to the agate panels
Approx measurements:
8.75" length
0.31" width
Best for wrists 7.5" to 8.5"
8.1mm link width
It weighs approx 27.12 grams.
