A gorgeous antique, late Georgian era mourning locket.
It is a circular shaped locket with a similar style to a pocket watch, heavily chased and engraved.
The locket has a decorative bow and a push clasp mechanism to open the locket door, within there is a glazed panel containing a very fine lock of blonde hair.
It is Unmarked, testing as 9ct gold front and back but it is likely a very heavy gold plating.
Late Georgian era, c1810s
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
Approx measurements:
1.42" length with bale
0.97" width
