Antique enamel Salmon brooch, 15ct gold and silver pin

A fine and unusual antique enamelled Salmon brooch / pendant.

A finely hand enamelled piece, solid and heavy sterling silver with 15ct gold, this piece is highly realistic, enamelled with the finest details and in low lights the scales of the fish glimmer and shine.

A versatile piece of jewellery which could be worn in many ways, brooch, tie pin or even a pendant as it has an integral gold bale at the top.

A very interesting and unusual piece.

Marked on the reverse 15ct and silver, late Victorian / early Edwardian.

It has a specialist two point C type clasp fastener with the pin and fastener being gold.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some enamel loss to the lower part of the fish, overall patina to the metal.
