You can't help but be charmed by this impeccable antique, Edwardian Garnet snake ring.
Coils of rich gold form the body of these handsome intertwined snake friends, the heads are modelled at the face of the ring with the snakes both having a star set Garnet to the head and the tails coiling around the sides.
This is exceptionally well made with a nice weight a lovely chunky piece.
The snake ring was catapulted into popularity when Queen Victoria received a snake ring from her beloved Albert, they were popular tokens of love and snakes in the Victorian era symbolised eternal love.
