This antique 9ct gold seal fob has a wonderful and unusual design which is really very charming!
It is designed as belt and buckle with a heavily chased domed base, the attention to detail is really very good on this piece and it has been expertly designed.
The belt and buckle were a popular symbol in Victorian times for holding one close or drawing near their love so this little fob has a romantic touch.
It has an attached gold bale so is ready to hang from your favourite antique necklace or Albert chain.
A superb antique piece in an interesting and sweet design.
The matrix has been removed and the cavity filled with what appears to be wax, you could have your own intaglio put in here though if desired.

Unmarked, 19th century, c1880s, Victorian era, tests as 9ct gold
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, matrix has been removed and cavity filled.
