A handsome and regal antique 9ct yellow gold Signet ring.
This is a shield shaped signet ring which lends its shape well to the regal heraldic lion that is sat, paw lifted, deeply engraved into the shield face.
The lion has historically represented a symbol of strength, courage, nobility and royalty.
It has impressed grooved shoulders and a nice chunky band, all hand crafted in rich 9ct yellow gold.
This beautiful antique ring is fully hallmarked to the inner band for 9ct gold, with the highly sought after Chester Assay mark, 1910.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear and surface scratches commensurate with age.
Approx weight: 5.07g.
Ring face approx 13.7mm length, 5mm band width.
