This stunning antique, Victorian 9ct yellow gold, fancy link longuard chain is the perfect versatile piece for your antique jewellery wardrobe.
We love a good long chain here, such a fresh and wearable piece of jewellery, this one is no exception.
Stunning oval belcher or rolo links in rich yellow gold intercepted by fancy interlocking links, it is a nice length, easily wrapped over a few times and is suitable to carry your favourite pendants or lockets.
It has a no fasteners but easily passes over the head, it has an attached 9ct gold dog clip fastener for adding your fave pieces.
A great chain, it has been loved and worn well over the years but is ready to be loved some more.
Marks and era:
The chain is unmarked tests as 9ct gold, the dog clip is stamped 9c, late Victorian era, c1890s.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, a few links with dings / dents, a number of the interlocking links are missing the interlocked section and are single links.
