Vintage 9ct gold Jade cabochon ring, 1970s

A gorgeous vintage 9ct gold Jade cabochon ring.

A beautiful mottled apple green jade with minty tones claw set into rich 9ct yellow gold.

It has a decorative almost petal like setting and textured shoulders, nature and abstract concepts were both very popular in the 70s world of jewellery.

It has a smooth and slender gold band allowing the stone to do all the talking.

Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, London assay office, 1977.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, light wear to the back of the band, stone with some scratches / abrasion and natural indents.
