An unusual vintage, Art Deco era, sterling silver cigarette case.
Hand enamelled with a scene of an abstract style Art Deco lady looking into the mirror.
It is a very well made cigarette case, heavy engine turned sterling silver with a gilt lining and internal elastic strap.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1935, Mappin and Webb with the Jubilee mark.
The case closes securely and well, a very interesting piece by a renowned silversmiths.
