A beautiful antique, Victorian sterling silver snuff box.
Oval shaped box with decorative shaped and engraved sides, the lid of the box features a pretty scene of two fairies and a stork in woodland.
Very fine box with great attention to detail.
The box is fully hallmarked, London import, F for foreign, London assay, 1894 the agent William Moering.
The snuff box has short form hallmarks to the lid, full marks to the inner rim and further Hanau marks to the base.
Inside the base of the snuff box there is engraving HB from TW.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, light surface wear, wear to the gilt wash inside, light overall patina.
