An attractive antique, late Victorian era Albert chain.
It is a sterling silver chain, graduating curb link with a dog clip fasteners to one end and a T bar to the other.
Each link is stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver, the clip is marked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1880s, Marks very worn, maker Edwin Page.
A lovely antique chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch, could also be utilised as a bracelet.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, dog clip fastener doesn't close flush but still holds well.
Total weight 24.22 grams.
Approx measurements:
Chain - 11" total length
T bar - 1.5" width
Links 6.6mm width at the widest point
