A beautiful antique, Victorian diamond mourning ring.
Crafted in rich buttery 18ct yellow gold with black enamel and set with 3 sparking bright diamonds.
The back of the band is engraved In Memory Of and the inner band is finely engraved with: My Brother Died Nov 11th 1888 Age 75.
The front has decorative deep channels separating each stone.
The principle, central diamond is approx 0.10ct, estimated H-J colour and SI clarity face up.
Total diamond carat weight Approx 0.20ct, estimated in setting.
It is a well made ring with a good weight to it, stamped 18c to the inner band with makers mark.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, a nice strong piece with good stones, there is some slight enamel loss and some evidence of re-enamelling
